I absolutely love both albums, but I chose Winning Days. I heard Winnning Days first, and it just really got me into The Vines... though I'm not sure which album is my favourite, or even if I have a favourite... but Winning Days brings back more memories and such...

Mmm, I chose Winning Days, it's a lot better produced, and a lot more calmer. Just the over all sound and feel of the album is amazing (Excellent to listen to when you're high) very trippy, great cover. But Highly Evolved is great too. I love both of them but I think they deserve more credit for Winning Days.

Well, I'd have to say Highly Evolved but then Winning Days is just so good...::can't decide:: I love Highly Evolved because I got it when it first came out and of course I had like 2 years to listen to that CD before Winning Days came out so I feel like I have a better connection with HE...but then when WD came out I was totally amazed...

Both. I can't decide on which one is better. Plus I suck at making decisions.

I couldn't choose! They both have awesome songs, songs for sad times, happy times, they are just so amazing. Their songs are so dreamy and relaxing-I could NEVER choose between them! By the way, FoxxieKitten your story about the sleep over cracked me up, that's a great story!!!

Winning Days. No contest.

i love both albums. i cant decide which one i like more, because when i'm sick of one of those albums, i can always listen to the other album. and the other way around...

i couldn't choose either..on both albums there are fantastic songs, which i love...mostly i listen to one of the records a lot and after a cetain time i get a bit bored of it, so i start listen to the other album...so it's really hard for me to make a decision

Highly evolved is better.....but this is my opinion, not yours

I love both albums...but if I had to choose I would go with Highly Evolved.

I couldn't choose my favourite one because I think I've listened to HE more often, but sometimes, if I listened to WD, I really enjoyed it. Man, it's so long, months ago that I've listened to one of the albums... Three or four or even more?

I chose both. I'm so indecisive. At the moment I'm listening to Winning Days more, but I like them both pretty much equally. They are both brilliant in different ways.

if there was like a compilation(sp?) album including: both auttumn shades, mary jane, ain't no room, 1969, Animal Machine, Fuck the World, and TV Pro, we would have a winner. but i had to pick both.

I actually like Winning Days more, but I voted both.

But my favorite song (of the moment) is on highly evolved.

both are really good, and because the music a its just so out there that with both cd you could take outside and just listen and relaxe. but my most favorit song is sun child. so cool I'M A SUN CHILD. LOL

haha yea i think there are more quality songs on highly evolved, but still some immensely incredible ones on winning days also. if you listen to all the harmonies at the end of the song winning days, its actually insane! i love ittt

in HE , i luv the energy, and in WD, it's ....Strong! i don't know how to explain that...but the 2 are fantastic, with wonderful melody, rythm, music, lyrics....etc......i can't compare them together

I like highly evovled because it is more...energetic shall I say..

BUt..Winning Days..that is just more mellow and is something to sit and just relax to.

So they both have anything you want in them..

i love both like you said, the first is more energetic, you can release all your energie by it, and then you have winning days to calm down,...awesome!!can't wait, how the next is going to be!!

highly evolved was so much more out there, and everything on it was good. winning days had amnesia, which was ok, but she to me is just annoying, its like a pop song. Ride or 1969 have got to be their bets individual ones tho

Winning Days just because it's what got me into the Vines via the commercial advertising where I heard Ride for about 20 seconds. I actually never liked Get Free when it was originally released.

I'm going to go with Winning Days. I like the acoustic parts. I'd vote Vision Valley but I don't suppose it was out when this thread was started.

I like them both. Maybe Winning Days a little more out of the two but then Highly Evolved has its charms too.
