How does any of this make Craig look like a chump? Who he dates is his own choice, and from all accounts (aside from here) KJ seems like a pretty cool person. Courtney's obsession has absolutely nothing to do with him, nor does KJ's choice to play in her band (which is a request that is unlikely to be filled, IMO).

courtney says DUDES ONLY, but that doesn't stop her from TRYING to get into the band. (a tad on the desperate side?). even if courtney wanted a dude bassist, this still coulda turned into a touring gig, and a spot in the band, NOT just playing on the album, as i do know courtney IS INFACT looking for a bassist. (male OR female for touring) yeah he can date whoever he wants, Courtney Love Wannabes seem to be his thing. Actually, your post says "KJ's looking to leave the FolloW ALREADY?", which comes off as a rhetorical question rather than a legitimate one. The emphasis on "already" implied that you're incredulous about that, rather than asking if it's true.

I get that that's your opinion, but I still fail to see how her actions, which are completely independent of Craig, make him seem like an idiot. If she was desperately trying to latch on to Courtney, then I can see how that makes her a little bit pathetic, but honestly she's just putting it out there that she's interested in playing on the album, and there's nothing wrong with wanting to further your career.

I can see why people are so suspicious, but I don't think Craig's as clueless as everyone thinks. I mean maybe the fact that he's helping The Follow get recognition is just a bonus and KJ really does love Craig, I mean who wouldn't? Besides, Craig might actually dig their music and like helping them out and they're like groupies of eachother or something...And about all his girlfriends really liking Courtney Love...ok that's weird, but it could just be a coincidence.

I really don't see what all the fuss is about. So the girl likes Courtney Loves music and would like the opportunity of playing bass for her. How on earth that makes Craig looks like a 'chump' is completely beyond me . Besides, what business is it of ours? It's their life, their relationship, it has nothing to do with us. So how about we give the poor girl a break and leave her alone. This constant analysis of her behavior and her personal posts on myspace (and I find it really quite creepy that there are people who actually stalk her online like that ) is just plain ridiculous. None of you know the girl, none of you know Craig. Therefore none of us can make any judgments about their relationship, and even if we were all best friends of both of them it'd still be their business, not ours.

alas i am so sorry i would like to take everything back ive ever said about KJ wanting to be Courtney Love, and have the same fame as the Kurt/Courtney thing. I didnt mean it. I really hope she gets a chance to play in Courtneys band to become famous, and rich, I hope she keeps on trying to become rich and famous. i actually applaud kj for looking out for herself and pursuing her dreams regardless of who her boyfriend is. hasn't she said she's a fan of courtney - why would she not want to play bass in her band? as jess pointed out, that doesn't mean she's quitting the follow - as sporadic as courtney is with albums and tours, it's possible to do both. that's kj's call. well, technically it's courtney's since she's the one who's hiring. playing bass with courtney certainly helped melissa auf de maur's career, and let's face it - it ain't easy making it in music...much less as a female...much less as a female bassist!! studio and touring work can help pay the bills.

besides, i've never understood girls who drop everything - including their career aspirations - just to be with a man...especially a man they are only dating!! now that's being a chump.

There really is nothing else to talk about. All the forum members have either left or decided to stick around on an empty, dead forum and, well, nit-pick, if you want to call it that way. What else is there? The latest release is only available in Australia, there's been zero promotion, there hasn't been an article on them in freakin forever, not even a single new photograph of the band has been published, nobody seems to give a fuck about as little as hinting fans what is hapenning next ... should I continue? Picking on Craig's supposed girlfriend may not be the best way to deal with it, but is just as fair as them not telling us anything (=anything. about anything. at all.) Nobody would talk about Craig's girlfriend if there were actual updates on the band and their music, which is the primary reason we're all (still) here.
Also, Courtney Love is insane. KJ is seriously better off as far away as possible from her.

yeah yeah yeah i applaud KJ as well, i really hope she gets to play with Courtney Love. I'd really love to see that. I really hope she keeps on trying too. Probably wouldn't hurt to drop craigs name? Seriously that would totally help. I mean, Melissa auf Der Maur had the help of Billy Corgan (though they weren't dating and she never asked for the help), but why not?? Hey I completely understand the frustration. We all wish the album had more promo and that management would send out more updates for fans. We all want the album to do well and it is really irritating to watch the release date creep closer and closer with absolutely no publicity. But I don't think a lack of album news justifies the constant criticism of people in the bands private lives.
