they probably put it up on youtube in the first place so craig could watch it at home back in oz. sot pit?! -------------------- |

His reply for those wondering I still stand by my previous statement, but then again.. who cares I agree with you. It does appear to be in poor taste. And i saw his reply/defense if you will.....And he calls that a tribute? I mean....maybe he means well...and didn't mean any harm by it....and i realize that. Plus he was drunk....not that its any excuse....but... whatever... But what gets me is...why is he posting it on youtube for all to see?? ..other then to get people to laugh at it. There's a reason why most of us Vines fans thought it was obnoxious. Probably because thats how it appears. And i cant believe Jak or KJ don't realize that. They're not drunk and off their faces now. It's been put up on youtube to get laughs! ..and its working if you look at the new comments. I mean...can you think of any other reason?? I cant. Idk..would Craig find it funny? its hard to say. He may..he may not. I personally would never post anything like that on youtube....if one of my friends did that. Even if it WAS all in good fun. It just looks really bad and in poor taste..thats all im saying. -------------------- Check out my artwork. ♥

I personally was laughing at Jak... not at Craig.
I really don't see any bad taste in it... bad singing and drunken idiocracy maybe I don't know Craig at all but I'd be damn surprised if he sits around thinking to himself: "Oh dear I rolled around on stage and knocked over a micstand. How embarrassing! I hope no one EVER imitates me! Oh fuck... what if they wear a feather boa make a drunken fool out of themselves and post it on YouTube!? What will people think of me??" -------------------- Greetings from The Ryco Representative Forum Whore ![]() ![]() "I used to own a dryer that sounded like Led Zeppelin" - Mitch |

Hm.. well, I personally don't know Craig {obviously}, but I *think* he would at least be a teensy bit offended by this, because these people {Jak & KJ} are not just anyone.. it's his girlfriend and her friend/band mate. Maybe I am looking too deep into this, but I don't like someone that I admire so much being made fun of.

It's a hard one to call on weather he is mocking craig or just being a drunk dick.... but a stupid move to put it on youtube for all to see.If it's a drunken night out and you thought it was worthwhile showing to anyone, maybe craig would be that person....... Just a thought

he's mocking, that's a fact. being drunk has nothing to do with this. because you can still actually think by yourself, even if you can't use 100% of your brain. the idea is still yours, he certaintly was drunk i don't deny it. he went singing by himself, and starting making fun of Craig by himself again because i don't think it was KJ's idea. the thing is, even if it wasn't mean to be nasty, just the act shows that he already thought that Craig's behaviour onstage was like that (as we saw on the video, he acted wild) and then he reproduced it. it probably doesn't make any sense to you, i have hard times describing what i'm thinking about this. oh, whatever ..

It still doesn't look like he was "making fun" of him to me. He was doing an imitation and he said himself that it wasn't a mockery or malicious. Friendly imitation is a form of flattery (even if the imitation is a bit drunken and off key at times). I can't grasp what the big deal of him putting it up publicly is either. It's a funny video. He probably has a lot of friends he wants to share it with.

Why anyone would find that funny or impressive is beyond me. A drunken tool brutally hammering an otherwise damn good song by acting like a poor man's version of Craig? Doesn't do it for me. Basically, I would dislike the video if it were Craig or Ryan, or Mother Teresa, because the clip basically sums up the type of people I despise - drunken fools that think they've got the world by the balls because they got booze and an ego disproportionate to their talent.

People are being protective, I think that's it. Or part of it.

She stayed peaceful like that until she passed away five days later."

The word you're looking for is 'hypersensitive'.
Which in turns translates into 'fangirl'. -------------------- "Tell me, Brother Baldrick, what exactly did God do to the Sodomites?"

Jen...i think people are just more careful when it comes to Craig because of his AS and because he is known to have outbursts and erratic behavior on stage. And i think we're all a little more protective..which is natural.....Not fangirly like Fee says. But Jen..i really think it was just genuine concern. You have to remember. We dont know these people...Jak and KJ or any of them...so of course its only natural to kinda think..hmmm... ..is he kosher? And maybe some of us aren't used to karaoke.. So..thats basically i think where most of us are coming from. p.s. Did i put enough smilies in this post yet? LOL -------------------- Check out my artwork. ♥

Dude you should have seen what I did to a Gnarls Barkley number a few months ago after God knows how many tequila shots....
sadly the only other person I know who could have given some account of it was at the time preoccupied (due to God knows how many tequila shots) in the ladies room -------------------- Greetings from The Ryco Representative Forum Whore ![]() ![]() "I used to own a dryer that sounded like Led Zeppelin" - Mitch |

Ahaha! I remember that I think Fee summed up my thoughts best in reguards to this whole over-reaction I mean, I know people are honestly concerned about the band and want the best for those in The Vines and that everyone's intentions here are good. But no-one here actually knows the Vines... we know their music, watched interviews, maybe met them for 5 minutes after or before a show... but does that mean we know them all personally? Does that give anyone here a right to judge other people in their lives? Of course not. The simple fact here is that the only people who are in any position to judge the validity of the friendships and relationships of the members of the Vines, are the members of the Vines. It is no business of ours at all. Their life is their life, and people who believe that they have the right to verbally rip apart people in the lives of the band on a public forum are just plain ignorant and delusional. I know you mean well, but your concern is misplaced, leave the private lives of the band to the band. -------------------- |

But it was hilarious...good fun not everything in life is meant to be taken seriously...and I'd say karaoke couldn't be a better example of that! I think I've only done it once at an actual karaoke bar...basically the only thing I remembered the next morning was that my friend and I sang 500 Miles by the proclaimers. Oh, and how fun it was to do that part in the chorus that goes like "da da da da..." . I probably just picked whatever key I liked and ran with it -------------------- *avatar designed by allie |
